Şahinbey Women's Cooperative

Şahinbey Women Cooperative has been established within the framework of the “PEP-Promotion of Economic Prospects” programme, which is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) in cooperation with Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and Şahinbey Municipality.

Our cooperative, with 26 female producers from different nationalities, produces healthy products from seed to the table under professional and hygienic conditions in solidarity.

Şahinbey Women's Cooperative was established by disadvantaged women. The Cooperative ensures that women are empowered and brought into the economy while producing joint solutions for the problems they face.

In addition to being a commercial enterprise, our cooperative is proud to be a strong solidarity circle where women come together to overcome difficulties they cannot overcome on their own.

Each product produced in our cooperative is processed meticulously using the best technologies according to the season, under the supervision of expert food engineers and technicians, packed in hygienic conditions, and stored in healthy environments.

Raw materials used in production are supplied directly from farmers and producers at a lower cost. The Cooperative prefers raw materials grown under healthy conditions. The cost savings are reflected in the prices offered to the consumers.
